JODHPUR AND NOT JUST TROUSERS!

The formidable Meherangarh Fort dominates the "Blue City" of Jodhpur. The fort houses warren of palaces, royal apartments, temples and barracks. There are some fascinating collections of royal regalia, to include palanquins and fabulously decorated elephant seats, armour and miniature paintings. The ramparts of the fort are wonderful place to take in the views of the surrounding city and of the blue Brahmin's houses for which Jodhpur is famous.

Wherever there is a cannon, William and James can be found. Seen here defending the fort against the infidel.....tourists!
Any self repecting "Hello" or "OK" reader will recognise this palace as one of the venues of the Liz Hurley/Arun Nadar wedding. A lovely location with views to the Fort and a frenzy of activity to get ready for the event which was taking place a few days after we were there.
